Gaming has been a favorite hobby of mine ever since age 5, and I imagine it will continue to be one for the foreseeable future. I love the challenges that games present, the stories they tell, and their ability to allow someone to take a different perspective. They have also helped me stay connected with friends who are now scattered across the country. I am particularly fond of RPGs but there are many genres that I enjoy. I typically game on consoles such as the PS4 and occasionally on PC.
I have been watching anime since the days of Toonami and have been a fan of it ever since. Recent series I've enjoyed watching include One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100.
I'm not particular about the form, be it books, movies, television series, games, etc. As long as it's related to one of these two genres I'm probably interested in it.
I have watched many a documentary on astrophysics and would be happy to discuss the subject in great detail and share my interest.
I have always be interested in human behavior and the motivations behind it. This is what inspired me to major in Psychology and Philosophy, two disciplines that approach the subject from different perspectives by applying different methodologies. Though in the philosophy community it is considered one of the lesser pursuits (or so I've read) I am a particular fan of moral philosophy. Its potential for real-world impact is significant and the questions it asks and seeks to answer are all ones that we as a society should think about more often.
I love to laugh and make others laugh. I like to think that have a good sense of humor. If you like to joke around then we'll probably get along well. I have been a fan of stand-up comedy for many years and also enjoy other media that falls into the comedy genre. A good laugh can instantly brighten my day and some of my fondest memories are of sharing a laugh with friends and family.
